The dear actually arrived on the 16th (last tuesday) but it took sometime to get her faceup done so I can do this post! The girl is pre-loved. I bought her off the forum marketplace from Gantaeno. The doll is for my BF. He really wanted a CH Junior AI Yeondu but he didn't want to order from Custom House thanks to their bad rep recently. I was haunting the marketplace very often and saw the selling thread by Gantaeno. I immediately inform my BF and he was so happy to have the chance to own her >w<;

Now off to the box opening. Msia post is really unreliable as the postman just left the box outside our apartment door when we were at work . I thought they should have left a note to collect from the post office but they didn't and just left it outside. Thank goodness it was NOT stolen or damaged or gone missing

Life update
Been very busy. This month has been really stressful and no-life ness. Just to inform i'm not gonna involve in any form of cosplay till further notice. blah. Hopefully next month will be less stressful.

Valerie in Red-streaked black wig bought from silvennia . I trimmed the fringe. It seems this wig made Valerie look much more mature. Bunny hairclips were picked out by muh bf..lol....Ignore human in the mirror...zzzzz...TY Girlz outfit made her have boobage lol.




Just finished this about an hour ago...My 1st attempt to make a doll outfit. I'm not satisfied with it seeing that the top doesn't really fit properly. Gosh I really don't have that delicate touch to make such tiny things. Val is happy about it though. The bright colors and flowery waist band makes her so cheery and happy. Will need to redo the pattern as i made the pattern from scratch ughghghgh.... obviously human pattern calculation doesn't work for dolly/kiddy body. I need to research more...gahhhh

Valerie actually arrived on 17th Jan 2009 but i sent her to my hometown so that there will be someone at home to receive the parcel. OMG im finally back in muh hometown and received her XD ;; Did a box opening and yeah...there's obligatory box-opening pix~!

Valerie is from Leekeworld, Leeke-D type Vanilla. I ordered her with face-up , LS-white DL platform mary janes and Dollga heat resisting wig W088 in Baby brown~! After playing with the wig though, i realised i might get another wig for casual wear, this wig is a little hard to maintain if used frequently @_@;;;;

Happy birthday baby! U made it home born in Rat year~ same as mummy and daddy lmao. She'a my first bjd ^_^

I bought these today for sethyhide  's boy,Armel. I haven't figured out how to pass to her yet though @_@; Armel won't be barefooted now! I do hope the shoe fits....the length is 8cm (sole length),

The "black" color pair is actually a really dark brown though... i hope you dun mind..... The other pair is a nice poster color blue. *_*;;

It's not even half of a month into 2009 and already something has totally foul-ed up my day.

Received and email i felt my heart dropped to the floor below my apartment and burn up in rage.

I've been waiting for so long and they were about to ship her out!!! Then this piece of *(#%#()* just happened. I hope this problem gets solved tomorrow.

I'm still angry and upset and all that but there's nothing I can do and it's no one's fault to blame cuz it really isn't anyone's fault.

My aunt that was fighting against Tongue-throat cancer... as well as living on one donated kidney.... finally succumb to the cancer and passed away peacefully today....about 10-15minutes ago... I received a call from another aunt and then my mom...


My grandmother and another aunt wanted to visit her on friday...but my grandmother this morning..suddenly say no must go today. So they took a cab to Johor. They manage to say some good, nice things to her...before she left just now.


Her suffering has ended and I'm very sure she is in heaven with God now. I don't think I'll be able to attend the funeral ...they haven't decided. If it's Saturday I have to rush down on Friday, if not i won't be able to attend at all already...



Me and another cousin have discussed...will we be sad when she passes on? We are not sure... but I believe she will want us to continue to do the things that we can do, the things she didn't get to do in her lifetime.

Very very mild spoiler + a bit of review.

Eagle Eye and Painted Skin movies were awesome! Yea I solo-ed two movies in one day in MidValley GSC yesterday. The counter boy was.. O_o;;; when i asked for one ticket for each movie at different times. This isn't the 1st time I solo-ed movie. I have done it many many times ever since I started working in KL. Eagle Eye is definitely worth watching despite the fact that it is critiqued to be borrowing elements from other famous movies. Painted Skin reminds me of some old china/hongkong drama series from the old china days. The makeup and the costumes as well as witty lines were fantastic (except for certain moments where i saw the latex near the ear peeling off.....). Sappy ending, touching but could be better. It's that Mai Hime effect. pfft

One box of popcorn + bottle of water + 2 movies. Quite relaxing actually. A friend challenging me to solo 3 movies in a row since she also have been solo-ing movies and doing doubles. We're even now. kekeke.

I took a walk around Midvalley and (someone kill me) I gave in to buying miniatures >o< ;; Gosh those Re-ment stuff and Megahouse stuff are so goddamn cute. I bought a set of Megahouse Princess Style furniture set. I bought it because it's packed in a SET and one left and.. this means I don't have to go through blind boxes just to get a set of Princess Style furniture set. It's the pink version too! All the better!
